The SMS Research Foundation has an open seat on our volunteer board of directors. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic people with fresh, creative ideas and a commitment to advancing research of Smith-Magenis Syndrome to join our team. This is a 2 year, voting member on our board.
As a member of the board you will be expected to:
- Attend monthly virtual board meetings
- Promote and advocate for SMS Research Foundation
- Participate in fundraising activities supporting our organization
- Be active in the governance and administration of SMS Research Foundation
All interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume and any other applicable documents to info@smsresearchfoundation.org. Select candidates will be interviewed by at least 2 current board members and must be elected by the full board. Help us make a difference in the prognosis of Smith-Magenis Syndrome!
